PART 1 - GENERAL

1.1 SUMMARY

A. Slipsheet fire-resistant barrier shall be [FR10] [FR50] as manufactured by Atlas Roofing Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia.

1.2 DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING

A. When stored outdoors, material must be kept dry.

1.3 WARRANTY

A. The Seller shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including the cost of installation, removal, repair or replacement of this product.

B. The Buyer shall be limited exclusively to, at the Seller´s option, the repayment of the purchase price or supply of a like quantity of non-conforming product.

PART 2 PRODUCTS

2.1 MATERIALS

A. [FR10] [FR50] shall be coated-glass fiber, fire-resistant mats specifically designed to be used over wood decks or combustible insulation.

B. FR10 shall be manufactured in rolls 48" wide by 250´ long covering approximately 1000 square feet of surface area.

C. FR50 shall be manufactured in rolls 48" wide by 108´ long covering approximately 432 square feet of surface area.

PART 3 EXECUTION

3.1. INSTALLATION

A. [FR10] [FR50] shall be rolled out with a minimum 2" overlap over [wood deck] [roof insulation].

B. Under windy conditions, attach with enough fasteners to prevent displacement.
